Through the basement window, Tom reaches for one of the bottles and then snatches it, rushing into the living room to pour it in his bowl and drink it but Jerry also wants Tom's milk. Tom makes various attempts to catch Jerry but when they all fail, the cat dreams up a murderous plot to rid himself of his annoyance. The next scene shows Tom mixing chemicals into his milk, upon mixing the deadly elixir, the chemicals cause the spoon to dissolve. After seeing a fly taking a little sip from the bowl before crying in pain and then dropping dead, Tom carefully carries the bowl and places it outside Jerry's hole, confident that his potion works, gleefully watching Jerry about to drink from the bowl.

Tom and Jerry - Dog Trouble (1942)
Info:
Jerry is running across a tablecloth, not going anywhere. As Jerry runs, Tom is pulling the cloth as if it were a treadmill. Tom reaches the end of the cloth and Jerry runs across to the other side of the table as Tom gives chase. Jerry tries to stop at the end of the table, but Tom's open mouth is waiting! Although he cannot stop, Jerry uses one of the cat's whiskers to swing himself back out, then escapes into his mousehole. Tom then knocks on the wall to get Jerry to come out, and patiently waits as Jerry tiptoes through an electrical outlet on the other side of the wall. Before he can steal away to a safer location, he sees a piece of cheese on a mousetrap and holds it out for Tom's tail to fall into. When the cat's jumping tail repeatedly misses, the mouse simply does the job himself, and then runs for his life as Tom yelps in agony at his throbbing tail.

Tom and Jerry - Cat And Dupli-Cat (1967)
Info:
Tom is rowing amongst some docks under the crescent moon, singing the Neapolitan ballad "Santa Lucia" the whole way in an operatic baritone voice. As he reaches the docks, he finds Jerry rowing in a small cup and mimicking him. Tom picks up the cup, steals some tea, sugar, and a spoon from a nearby cruise ship, and covers Jerry with both before he can finish. Tom then begins to drink the Jerry-tea, but an orange cat (referred to as Dupli-cat) pulls on Tom's tail, points at an empty plate, and holds his hand out as if to say, "Mine." Tom gives him the teacup, and then Dupli-cat pulls on Tom's tail again and Tom then returns the spoon. Tom then innocently sits on the pillar until he hears Dupli-cat sipping the tea, and then after a few seconds, perhaps the most vivid display of rage throughout the series is seen: Tom blows his top.

Tom and Jerry - Carmen Get It! (1962)
Info:
Tom chases Jerry into the then-brand new Metropolitan Opera House, where Georges Bizet's Carmen opera is being performed, but is quickly thrown off the premises by the guard. Tom attempts to get in by disguising himself as a wealthy gent, but is tossed out once again by the guard. Tom tries once more, dressed as a musician and carrying a large string contrabass case, successfully bluffing his way through by whistling a few notes of the Toreador Song. The guard thought he shouldn't have tossed Tom off the premises. Tom makes his way towards the opera, and opens up the case to reveal a cello case, a viola case, a violin case, and finally a violin. During the preparing of the orchestra, Tom opens up the violin, which contains a tape recorder inside, which simulates Tom's portion of the score. Tom lures Jerry by scraping the violin's bow with cheese, and while attacking Jerry with the bow, Jerry falls into the violin and rewinds the tape. The squeaking noise disturbs the conductor, who promptly breaks the violin on Tom's head. This conductor appears to have a clear but unexplained dislike for Tom, and relishes every opportunity to harm him physically (implying that the conductor was based on the legendary composer Arturo Toscanini, both in appearance and parodying Toscanini's reputed fiery temper and abusive criticisms).

Tom and Jerry - Barbecue Brawl (1956)
Info:
Spike and Tyke walk into the backyard to have a barbecue. The first attempt fails because the charcoal blows up. On the second attempt, Spike puts on too much charcoal on the barbecue, the result which lets of a cloud of dark smoke when Spike blows into the charcoal to get the fire going (which results in the smoke making Spike's eyes red and watery). He however claims this to his son that a bit of Hickory smoke always keeps in good barbecue flavour. On the third attempt, the steak is instantly burnt to a crisp. Spike retrieves another steak, but by this time Tom and Jerry have appeared on the scene with Tom chasing Jerry as usual. Jerry repeatedly hides in items involved in the barbecue: the bag of charcoal, Spike's hat, the salad, the pepper shaker, and the bread. This means that every time Tom pursues Jerry, he is interfering with the barbecue. Each time this happens, Spike chases Tom off, with Tom usually ending up in the swimming pool.
