Mazlan Pet Pet plays a man who has an infatuation with animals but it's the very reason that gets him sacked from most of his jobs. He then sells drinks opposite the zoo and eventually goes for an interview to be a security guard for the zoo. He eventually gets the job together with Encik Din (Bob Leman) and meets Shiela (Lisa Surihani) who says that most guards never make it past their first day, as there are many strange happenings during the night. After returning from a sick leave, he is suddenly accused for smuggling exotic animals out from the zoo. He then tries to find the culprit with the help of the animals and also Shiela.

Sikapnya yang ‘gila-gila’ membawa padah kepada dirinya apabila sering diberhentikan kerja. Pada suatu hari, ketika sedang menjual minuman di hadapan Zoo, Lan secara tidak sengaja masuk ke sessi temuduga yang dibuat oleh pengurus disitu, En. Din dan Lan mendapat jawatan tersebut. Dari saat itu bermulalah kisah Lan bersama haiwan-haiwan di zoo sebagai pengawal keselamatan.

After hearing Quagmire brag about his sexual exploits, Peter feels that he has missed out on enjoying the single lifestyle. Death is summoned to The Drunken Clam on a false alarm, and decides to grant Peter's wish by sending him, along with Brian, back to 1984 for one night. Appearing to others as his 18-year-old self, Peter cancels his scheduled movie date to see Zapped! with Lois Pewterschmidt, instead accepting an invitation from Cleveland to go and party at a bar. Peter enjoys the evening, and ends up making out with actress Molly Ringwald before Death appears to return him to the present. Back in the present day, Peter discovers that his past actions have had drastic effects on the world; he and Molly have been married for 20 years; Lois is married to Quagmire and Chris, Meg, and Stewie have Quagmire's chin, nose, and mannerisms. Brian explains to Peter that by missing out on his date with Lois and making out with Molly, he altered the time line. Over Brian's objections about leaving the "perfect" world, Peter begs Death to return him to the past so he can undo his mistake. Back in the past, Peter is determined to accept Lois' invitation, but repeatedly blows his opportunity, and ends up repeatedly asking Death for a do-over. When Peter finally gets it right, he forgets a few hours later, and parties with Cleveland instead of keeping the date. He asks Death for another chance, but Death, fed up with Peter's continued blunders, tells him that he will have to fix the problem on his own.

The Griffin family decides to take a vacation at Quagmire's cabin. When the family goes swimming in nearby Lake Quahog, they discover that an oil refinery is dumping toxic waste into the lake. As the family flees from the lake, their hair begins to fall out, and they are forced to wear powdered wigs until it grows back. Lois complains to Mayor Adam West, who admits that he sanctioned the dumping, in exchange for free oil for his hair. Outraged, Lois decides to run against West in the upcoming mayoral election. Peter and his friends become strong supporters of Lois's campaign, realizing should she become mayor, they would be able to get away with almost anything. Lois's campaign soon falters, however, as Mayor West proves more politically savvy than her. While Lois bores voters with detailed plans to improve the city, Mayor West uses glittering generalities and statements completely unrelated to the questions posed to him. Following some advice from Brian, to give short, simple answers, Lois resorts to similar tactics, dropping controversial terms such as "Jesus" and "9/11" in meaningless ways. She eventually gains the support of the populace and wins the election.

As a result, Quagmire loses his job and is forced to live with the Griffins until he can find another job. Peter claims he is no longer going to be a redneck, although this fails to comfort Quagmire over his loss.

At the party, Peter dresses up as Pee Pants the Inebriated Hobo Clown, and asks Meg for a long scarf, which is attached to his tongue, which causes him to vomit. Peter hands Meg the long scarf from his tongue, and Meg refuses to hold it. Meg asks her parents if she can open her gifts, and Meg notices Stewie opening most of them. Peter gets drunk, and attempts to ride a unicycle down the steps, but falls off and crushes his father, Francis, who later dies from the accident. When Francis dies, Francis calls Peter "a fat stinking drunk". Peter is angry since Francis does not care about him. Lois assumes that Francis does not care about Peter since he's a heavy drinker. Peter gives up drinking, and does crack. Brian visits Peter, notices that he is doing crack, and tells him that crack is not a good substitute for drinking. As a result, Peter sees a hypnotherapist, who helps Peter discover that Francis was not his biological father. Peter confronts his mother, Thelma, who admits she had an affair forty years earlier and that his real father resides in Ireland.
